01/11/2016 Al-Khayyat Motors the sole importer for Peugeot, Citroën and Mazda in Jordan has offered the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) logistical support by assigning 2 Peugeot 301 cars, and one Citroen C-Elysee 2016 to assist RHAS in implementing its programs, until the end of this academic semester, particularly the “Healthy Kitchen”, that aims to provide healthy meals to school students in impoverished areas across Jordan.

This type of logistical support facilitates the work of RHAS team to follow up on activities related to the “Healthy Kitchen Project”, which is implemented in partnership with the World Food Program, the Ministry of Education, and local community based organizations. The project delivers around 10,300 meals on daily basis.

On this occasion, RHAS Director General, Hanin Odeh, praised this endeavor saying that this kind of cooperation is a great example of a private public partnership towards common good and service. Whether it is monetary or in kind support, this contributes to empowering RHAS and decrease logistical challenges to expand its outreach to as many beneficiaries as possible. She also recognized AKM’s efforts, and called on other private sector institutions to follow suit due to the impact such partnerships have on elevating the overall health status, and improving the quality of life for many Jordanian citizens from all over Jordan”.

From his side, AKM Director General, Tareq Al Sahib, commented on this partnership saying “this humble contribution aligns with our vision for our responsibility towards the society as a Jordanian enterprise. We are proud of our partnership with RHAS to support local programs implemented in different parts of the Kingdom. We appreciate the relentless efforts RHAS has invested in raising awareness among impoverished local communities, and offering them the support and help they need”.
