RHAS and Naua for Sustainable Development Sign Partnership Agreement

27/03/2018

Amman, March 2018 – The Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) signed a partnership agreement with Naua for Sustainable Development, a Crown Prince Foundation initiative established in partnership with the private sector. The agreement aims to garner the support and funding of individuals and companies alike for RHAS’s charitable projects, which will appear on Naua’s online platform.

According to the agreement, individuals and companies will get introduced to RHAS’s programs and each of their milestones, allowing them to choose the cause they want to support. In return, RHAS will use the proceeds to implement the activities and projects listed in a clear, pre-agreed work plan with Naua. On its part, Naua will monitor the progress of work and report on its impact, and then it will present the findings on the platform.

Ms. Hanin Odeh, Director General at RHAS, commented on the agreement signing which took place earlier this month, saying: “a platform like Naua allows stakeholders to see the impact of their charitable work, and enables them to support their causes on a more regular basis. As for RHAS, we consider this partnership an opportunity to highlight our programs and health projects, as well as increasing our outreach to a wider audience of supporters online, especially individuals. It is also a great chance to build the capacities of our team in measuring social impact. Additionally, working with Naua will allow us to reach more volunteers to increase health awareness and build the capacities of youth, as a credible volunteering entity. We are happy with this partnership being the first health-related organization on the platform, and we look forward to reaping its benefits in the expansion of our programs and improving the health of Jordanians, especially children.”

Naua Sustainable Development CEO, Mr. Ahmad El Zubi, has reiterated the importance of working with societies that have credibility and a long track record: “we chose RHAS to go on the Naua platform after a grueling audit of its methodology, as well as ensuring that it met our accreditation conditions. Naua will highlight RHAS programs to help it get the funding needed, the proceeds will go to RHAS in full as our service is free-of-charge, which we believe will enhance corporate social responsibility in the private sector. Additionally, we hope to provide them with a tracking tool to monitor the projects that they champion. We are certain that our partnership with RHAS will help enhance the great charitable work it does in the field of health awareness.”
