Youth and Outreach Manager
The Youth and Outreach Manager will provide an overall management of the Youth and Outreach Programs at RHAS, ensuring that the programs have a clear direction and fit into the organizations’ overall strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the Youth and Outreach Department under the Programs Department.
- Provide cohesive leadership to the youth and outreach programs/projects to ensure that all project’s activities are integrated in planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Establish a youth volunteering platform/system to support RHAS programs.
- Support capacity building and training youth volunteers based on their needs.
- Prepare operational plans, budgets and human resource plans to support current and upcoming projects.
- Develop, manage and monitor assigned budget in collaboration with the Finance Department.
- Ensure that the Project is implemented as proposed and meet targeted objectives.
- Develop technical and financial reports according to donor requests and ensure timely reporting on activities.
- Advise Senior Management on potential areas for new projects and engage in program design
- Liaise and network with relevant stakeholders and existing/potential donors.
- Assist in developing project concept notes and proposals, providing technical expertise in areas related to outreach and youth activities.
- Represent RHAS in relevant events/committees/functions/conferences relevant to the scope of work.
Qualifications:
- BA degree in public health, social sciences, humanitarian or international relations studies. A Master’s degree in similar field is preferable.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and youth related work, with at least 3 years of them working in managerial positions
- Experience in development, working with NGOs, UN agencies, or similar, managing volunteers and engaging in community mobilization and outreach programs. Focus on public health is a plus.
- Strong Management and leadership skills, with high sense of motivation and taking initiative.
- Understanding of program cycles and project management
- Excellent Arabic and English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing training to youth and volunteers.
